Rennes-Paris-Buenos Aires-Ushuaia

Ce n'est pas la partie la plus excitante du voyage, donc je ne vais pas trop m'attarder... TGV puis avion (long - 13h - et très remuant), arrivée à Buenos Aires dans la chaleur (25 à 30°C dans la journée...) pour juste quelques heures, principalement consacrées à une longue sieste puis à une balade dans le quartier où est l’hôtel (Microcentro - San Telmo) à la recherche d'une parrilla pour manger de l'excellent bœuf argentin accompagné d'un verre de Malbec, comme il se doit. Buenos Aires a l'air d'une ville riche et agréable, il faudrait revenir dans d'autres circonstances pour en profiter mieux.  Incroyablement, la représentante d'Hurtigruten présente à l’hôtel pour nous renseigner sur la suite du voyage nous reconnait! (ou peut-être qu'elle est juste très professionnelle...).

This is not the most exciting part of the trip, so I will be quick. We have contracted the whole journey (from Paris) with Hurtigruten, definitely not the least expensive choice but the most convenient. If there is a next time, maybe we will do differently. Train, plane (13 very bumpy hours... it's long), arriving in Buenos Aires with 25°C, nap, a bit of a walk in the hotel's neighbourhood (Microcentro - San Telmo), to have a steak dinner in a parrilla, as should be (the beef and the wine are excellent). Buenos Aires is a rich and lively city, I would need other circumstances to appreciate it fully. The Hurtigruten representative at the hotel recognizes us from 5 years ago! Incredible (or maybe she is just very professional). She will give us instructions for the rest of our journey.
