Bergen, le départ

Quand on arrive à Bergen le temps s'est un peu remis au gris, on va déposer nos valises au terminal Hurtigruten et on décide de monter en funiculaire (Fløibanen) en haut du Mont Fløyen. Je croyais que c'était un truc à touriste, mais en fait non (enfin, un peu quand même, mais pas seulement) car il y a plusieurs arrêts dans la montée et c'est visiblement utilisé par les locaux pour rentrer chez eux. Arrivé en haut on a quand même une vue assez spectaculaire sur toute la ville et les montagnes aux alentours. On voit notre bateau!

When we arrive in Bergen, the weather is a bit grey again. We go to the Hurtigruten terminal to leave our suitcases and we decide to take the cable car (Fløibanen) to the top of Mount Fløyen.I thought it was a totally touristic thing, but not really. Well, in part, but it is aslo used by locals who live up on the mountain, there are several stops along the way for people to go in and out. At the top, there is a gorgeous view of Bergen and its surrounding. We can even see our ship!

On revient au terminal vers 17h15, la procédure d'embarquement a changé, maintenant il faut passer par un briefing de sécurité avant même d'embarquer. On finit par monter à bord et on rejoint notre cabine où les valises nous attendent. C'est la cabine qu'on avait eu pour le premier voyage et pourtant elle est différente... Elle a été toute refaite, on pense même qu'elle a été diminuée en taille (c'est possible, comme il est aussi possible qu'on l'ait améliorée dans nos souvenirs...), donc on est un peu déstabilisé mais on va s'y faire. On arrive à caser toutes nos affaires donc ça va s'organiser. Mais comme quoi on ne refait jamais deux fois le même voyage (et tant mieux).

We are back to the terminal around 17h15. The boarding procedure has changed, now you have to go through the safety briefing in the builiding, before getting on the ship. Once on board we go to our cabin, where our suitcases are waiting. It's the same cabin we had for our first trip, but it is totally different... It has been redecorated entirely (and we think it is smaller than it was, but it's possible that it has incresed in our memory!). We manage to get organised with all our stuff, it will be fine. But this shows you can never do the same trip twice (and it's a good thing).

Départ à 22h30 tapantes, on attend d'avoir passé le pont Askøy, on croise le MS Midnatsol qui regagne le port (mais qu'est ce qu'il fait là à cette heure-là?). Et puis dodo!

We leave at 22h30 sharp. We wait until we go under the Askøy bridge. We pass the MS Midnatsol, on its way back to Bergen (what are they doing here at this hour?). And then, off to bed!
