Trondheim-Oslo, un jour en train

Et c’est fini… Enfin, pas tout à fait, on a encore un peu de voyage, mais ce sont les adieux au bateau… On a beau se lever tôt, on a quand même raté l’arrivée à Trondheim, on est déjà à quai. Petit déjeuner express, dernier coup d’œil (merci et à bientôt, MS Lofoten, et bon anniversaire !), direction la gare, et nous voilà dans le train pour Oslo. Juste après le départ, on voit arriver le MS Nordnorge, en route vers le nord !

And it's over... Not completely, we still have a bit of a journey left, but it's goodbye to the ship. We try to wake up early, but we still missed the arrival in Trondheim and we are already docked. Express breakfast, last look at the ship (thank you and farewell MS Lofoten, happy birthday and hopefully see you soon!). Off to the train station and pretty quickly we are on board the train to Oslo. Just as the train leaves the station, we see Northbound MS Nordnorge arriving in Trondheim.

Il fait très beau en début de journée, et même si le trajet n’est pas aussi spectaculaire que Oslo/Bergen, c’est quand même très joli.



Very nice weather in the morning, and even though the landscape is not as spectacular as Oslo-Bergen, it is still pretty interesting.

On a un peu de brume en altitude, mais on voit aussi à quoi ça ressemble quand il n’y a pas de neige (par endroit, ça reste quand même un peu lunaire… J’imagine qu’en moyenne sur l’année, les conditions ne sont pas optimales pour la végétation). Aux abords du grand lac de Lillehammer, ça commence à se couvrir franchement, on arrive à Oslo sous les nuages.

There is a bit of fog as we arrive at the high point, but we still can see what the landscape is like when there is no snow. It is still pretty bare up in the mountains... I guess on average over the year it is not the best conditions for plants to grow. As we near Lillehammer the clouds are getting thicker and we reach Oslo in grey weather.
